The biggest fraudster of India who sold the TajMahal,Parlament and many more

Some people dream of rolling in money; of becoming famous. Now that’s another thing that most of us just ‘dream’ and don’t work towards realizing it. But for those who do, some become the Amitabh Bachchan of their own kind, and some others end up selling the Taj Mahal!

Natwarlal falls in the latter category. He duped people of crores of rupees with total ease and reserved a spot for himself in the history of India as the greatest ‘Conman’ to have ever lived.

Born as Mithilesh Kumar Srivastava in Bangra village of Siwan district, Bihar, Natwarlal was a lawyer by profession before he started duping people off their money. He was a clever impostor and used more than 50 aliases to dupe people. The master hoaxer even swindled prominent businessmen, including Tata, Birla, Mittal, and the Ambanis.

That\’s not all. He had mastered the art of forging signatures of famous personalities before he set his sight on selling historical landmarks of the country. To everyone\’s surprise, he successfully sold Taj Mahal, Red Fort, Rashtrapati Bhavan, and the Parliament House of India, along with its 545 sitting members!

 

He sold the Taj Mahal thrice,Red Fort, he sold twice. He also sold the Rashtrapati Bhawan, and even the Parliament House of India (along with its 545 sitting members) to gullible foreigners by posing as a government official.

He was sentenced to 113 years but managed to escape prison 9 times. The last time, he was 84 years old.
